According to its latest figures, Labour is set to gain 49% of the Holyrood Constituency vote... as big as the vote shares of the Tories (9%), the Lib Dems (7%) and SNP (33%) put together.
Many of the
Tories' Coalition's key reforms -
the dismantling of the NHS, the introduction of higher tuition fees for higher education - apply to England, not the other home nations. It is likely that in five years time, Scotland will be a very different (and no doubt more egalitarian) place than England.
